Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaMusicalWestern163 min
When a politician’s two bodyguards are pushed out after a scandal engulfs their employer, they flee to Mumbai, take work with a gangster, and soon find the police closing in. Ram Gopal Varma’s Hindi action film threads political fallout into underworld dealings, turning the pair’s escape into a chase through the city’s criminal networks. Amitabh Bachchan heads the ensemble alongside Mohanlal and Ajay Devgn, with Sushmita Sen and Prashant Raj Sachdev also in the mix. Gangster drama, broad comedy, and musical interludes all run through the story as the men try to stay ahead of both their past and the law.
