The Full Monty

ComedyDrama90 min

In 1990s Sheffield, jobless steelworker Gaz comes up with a risky way to make quick cash: he talks a group of equally broke men into putting on a one-night strip show. Robert Carlyle is Gaz, pushing the idea with more confidence than planning, while Mark Addy is among the friends he pulls into rehearsals. What starts as a joke turns into a very public wager on pride, nerve, and whether ordinary blokes can outdo the polished Chippendales by going all the way. Tom Wilkinson is part of the lineup, bringing another layer of strain to a group already juggling unemployment and embarrassment.
