Called in on his day off, convenience-store clerk Dante Hicks spends one long shift fielding customers, dodging responsibilities, and arguing with everyone around him. Next door, video-store clerk Randal Graves keeps wandering over to mock the job, antagonize shoppers, and make Dante’s bad day worse. As the hours drag on, small hassles pile up into fights about work, relationships, and whether either of them is going anywhere. Brian O'Halloran and Jeff Anderson anchor a black-and-white snapshot of retail boredom, crude debates, and the parade of odd regulars who turn an ordinary workday into a running disaster.
