Jagdish “Jolly” Tyagi leaves Meerut for Delhi hoping to make his name as a lawyer, then grabs at quick notoriety by filing a public-interest case around a notorious hit-and-run. Arshad Warsi is Jolly, a hustling advocate whose shortcut to fame pulls him into a courtroom battle much bigger than he imagined. As petitions, headlines, and pressure mount, his ambition runs up against the hierarchy and corruption built into the legal system, with Boman Irani alongside Warsi in the case’s widening fallout.
