Meet the Blacks

ComedyHorror94 min

Mike Epps is Carl Black, a cash-flush striver who moves his family to Beverly Hills for a fresh start, only to arrive on the night the city holds its annual purge, when all crime is legal for twelve hours. With Zulay Henao's Lorena trying to keep the household grounded and Lil Duval turning up as cousin Cronut, Carl spends the night fending off home invasions, neighborhood chaos, and his own bad timing. The setup riffs on Purge-style mayhem, mixing broad slapstick, family squabbling, and a Beverly Hills backdrop where the danger is as absurd as it is immediate.
