Zoe Saldaña is an American artist whose time in Italy leads to a relationship with a Sicilian chef (Eugenio Mastrandrea). What begins as a romance abroad grows into a life shared across cultures and continents, as the couple navigate two families, two homes, and the practical demands of building a future together. Moving between Italy and the United States, the series follows love alongside grief, resilience, and the everyday ways food, art, and family traditions tie their lives together.
