La Chimera
ActionAdventureAnimationComedyDramaFantasyRomance131 min
Just out of jail, Josh O'Connor is Arthur, a rumpled English archaeologist who falls back in with a band of tombaroli in 1980s coastal Italy, looting Etruscan graves and fencing whatever they pull from the earth. Arthur has an uncanny gift for finding hidden tombs, but his search keeps bending toward Beniamina, the woman he lost, and toward myths of a passage between the living and the dead. Moving between a small town on the Tyrrhenian Sea, underground chambers, forests, and crowded celebrations, he crosses paths with accomplices and locals, with Carol Duarte and Isabella Rossellini among the figures in his orbit.
