Jackie Brown
CrimeDramaThriller154 min
Flight attendant Jackie Brown is caught smuggling cash into the U.S. for gunrunner Ordell Robbie, and suddenly both the cops and her boss are closing in. Pam Grier gives Jackie a cool, watchful center, with Samuel L. Jackson as the smooth, dangerous Ordell and Robert Forster as the bail bondsman who helps her sketch out a plan of her own. Quentin Tarantino turns the setup into an L.A. crime story of shifting loyalties, shopping bags full of money, and careful conversations where every side is trying to stay one step ahead.
