Black Christmas

CrimeHorrorMysteryThriller98 min

As Christmas break approaches at Pi Kappa Sigma, the women in a Bedford sorority house are rattled by a stream of obscene phone calls that start to feel less like a prank than a threat. Olivia Hussey and Margot Kidder are among the sisters trying to carry on as the calls escalate, while the local police scramble to trace them. Snowy streets, holiday decorations, and the claustrophobic house itself tighten the sense of danger around a story that helped define the slasher form long before it had a name.
