Bedurulanka 2012
ActionAdventureComedyDrama149 min
As 2012 panic reaches the small island village of Yedurulanka, Shiva (Kartikeya Gummakonda), a practical young man, teams up with his girlfriend Chithra and a few friends to puncture doomsday rumors before they become a business. Neha Shetty is Chithra, standing with him as fear spreads through the village. At the center is a trio of self-styled god-men using end-of-the-world prophecy to fleece the locals, turning superstition into a scheme. The film frames its village setting through romance, comic chaos, and a growing pushback against opportunists cashing in on public fear.
