Bill Whitney is a Beverly Hills teenager who can’t shake the sense that he doesn’t belong in his own wealthy family. Billy Warlock is Bill, moving uneasily through high school and the polished social circle his parents, sister, and girlfriend seem to accept without question. The more he notices small, unsettling details, the more that upper-class world starts to look like something hidden in plain sight. What begins as suspicion about his family’s friends leads Bill toward a secret society among the social elite, with the film sliding from suburban unease into grotesque, surreal body horror.
