CrimeDrama112 min

After he’s thrown out of his Florida home during the Great Recession, Andrew Garfield’s Dennis Nash, a recently unemployed construction worker and single father, takes a brutal bargain from the man who evicted him. Michael Shannon is Rick Carver, a smooth, predatory real estate broker who hires Dennis to clear foreclosed properties and force other families out, while dangling the chance to win back what he’s lost. Motels, construction sites, and half-finished subdivisions frame a housing-crash story driven by debt, pressure, and the compromises Dennis makes to keep his family afloat.
