ActionAdventureFantasyRomance94 min
Jack, a young forest dweller, is chosen to save Princess Lili and stop the demonic Lord of Darkness before the world falls into endless night and winter. Tom Cruise is Jack, moving through a mythical wilderness of fairies, goblins, and unicorns, while Mia Sara's Lili stands at the center of the threat closing in on their kingdom. Tim Curry, buried under towering makeup and horns, gives Darkness a vivid physical presence in Ridley Scott's fantasy, where romance, swordplay, and underworld imagery push a fairy-tale world toward ice and shadow.
