ActionAdventureDrama116 min
When rookie driver Jimmy Bly starts slipping in the standings, team owner Carl Henry brings back a former star to help salvage the season. Kip Pardue's Bly is fast but increasingly distracted by pressure from his promoter brother, a rivalry on the track, and a romance that complicates everything off it. Sylvester Stallone is Joe Tanto, the veteran asked to steady the young driver even as he carries the scars of a crash that nearly ended his own career. With Burt Reynolds as Henry, the story moves through the money, ego, and danger surrounding the world of top-level open-wheel racing.
