Tina Fey is Portia, a by-the-book recruiter whose routine trip to an alternative high school is upended by former classmate John Pressman; Paul Rudd’s John has an easygoing streak. He believes one of his brightest students, the unconventional Jeremiah, may be the son Portia gave up for adoption years earlier.
