The Quiet Ones

HorrorMysteryThriller98 min

A university professor recruits a group of students for a private experiment meant to prove that poltergeists come from the human mind, not the supernatural. Jared Harris is the driven academic at the center of it, with Sam Claflin among the students drawn into the sessions, while Olivia Cooke’s disturbed young woman becomes the subject of increasingly dangerous tests. In 1970s Britain, seances, locked doors, and violent disturbances turn the project into something far less controlled than a classroom exercise.
