Killing Them Softly

CrimeDramaThriller97 min

After three small-time crooks rob a mob-protected poker game in New Orleans, the local underworld lurches into panic. Brad Pitt is Jackie Cogan, the enforcer sent in to identify the thieves and restore order before the damage spreads. Around him, the mob’s business runs through bars, hotel rooms, and wary phone calls, with James Gandolfini and Richard Jenkins in the circle of men trying to manage the fallout. The story unfolds against the 2008 election and financial crisis, turning its criminal network into a mirror of a country talking about bailouts, collapse, and who gets left holding the bill.
