Doctor Sleep

DramaFantasyHorrorThriller152 min

Still marked by what happened at the Overlook Hotel, Dan Torrance has grown into a troubled man trying to keep his psychic gift at bay. Ewan McGregor is the adult Danny from The Shining, now pulled back toward the supernatural when he meets Abra (Kyliegh Curran), a teenager whose “shine” is even stronger than his. Their connection puts them in the path of Rose the Hat, a mysterious drifter leading a group that hunts children with the same ability. Rebecca Ferguson gives Rose an eerie calm as Dan is forced to confront the trauma, addiction, and ghosts that have followed him into adulthood.
