What Lies Beneath

DramaHorrorMysteryThriller130 min

Claire Spencer begins hearing voices and seeing a young woman in the Vermont lakeside home she shares with her husband, and the signs of a haunting get harder to dismiss. Michelle Pfeiffer is Claire, moving from quiet unease to outright suspicion as the disturbances close in around her. Her husband Norman (Harrison Ford), a respected doctor, treats her fears as delusion even as the couple’s carefully ordered life starts to crack. Directed by Robert Zemeckis, the film turns a polished marriage and an elegant house into the center of a supernatural mystery tied to a secret neither of them can keep buried.
