Hunter Killer

ActionAdventureThriller122 min

American submarine commander Joe Glass is sent into the Arctic to find a U.S. sub in distress and surfaces in the middle of a Russian coup that could ignite a global conflict. Gerard Butler is Glass, leading the USS Arkansas through enemy waters while an elite Navy SEAL team moves ashore to locate the kidnapped Russian president. Back in Washington, Gary Oldman is among the officials trying to keep the crisis from tipping into war. The film splits its action between claustrophobic sub maneuvers, military command rooms, and snowbound ground operations.
