The New Guy
Comedy88 min
DJ Qualls is Dizzy Harrison, a nerdy high school senior who deliberately gets himself expelled, picks up lessons in attitude from a convict, and transfers to a new school determined to reinvent himself as the mysterious tough guy. At his new campus, the makeover drops him into a different pecking order of jocks, cheerleaders, and hallway rumors, where keeping up the act becomes its own problem. Eliza Dushku and Zooey Deschanel are part of the new crowd Dizzy tries to impress while his carefully rebuilt image starts to wobble.
