The Killing of a Sacred Deer
DramaHorrorMysteryThriller121 min
Dr. Steven Murphy is a successful cardiovascular surgeon whose polished home life with his wife Anna and their two children starts to buckle when Martin (Barry Keoghan), a fatherless teenager with a connection to Steven's past, begins inserting himself into the family. Colin Farrell is Steven, all reserve and routine, while Nicole Kidman's Anna matches the household's cool control. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, the film follows Martin's growing presence from awkward dinners and gifts into something far more disturbing, as the Murphys' carefully ordered life gives way to dread and a sudden, unexplained illness.
