At summer camp, two girls who can’t stand each other make a startling discovery: they’re identical twins, separated after their parents’ divorce. Hayley Mills is both Susan and Sharon, one raised by her mother and the other by her father, and once camp ends they switch places to meet the parent each has never known. Maureen O’Hara and Brian Keith are the exes at the center of the plan, while the twins quietly work to bring the family back together — starting with an effort to drive off the woman pursuing their father.
