Miracle on 34th Street

DramaFamilyFantasy114 min

Six-year-old Susan Walker has little patience for Santa Claus after her mother told her the truth long ago, but one Christmas she meets a department store Santa (Richard Attenborough) who insists he’s the genuine article. Mara Wilson is Susan, a guarded child with a short list of wishes and low expectations. That encounter begins to shift how she sees the season, turning her family’s no-nonsense view of Christmas into a larger question about belief, doubt, and whether the man in the red suit might be more than a holiday employee.
