Hit and Run

ActionAdventureComedyRomance100 min

Dax Shepard is Charlie Bronson, a former getaway driver hiding in Witness Protection who blows his cover to drive his girlfriend to Los Angeles. Kristen Bell’s partner is expecting a straightforward road trip; instead, their ride turns into a chase involving federal marshals, Charlie’s old gang, and a loose end from his past in the form of Bradley Cooper. Tom Arnold turns up as the marshal on their trail, while the movie keeps one foot in car-chase action and the other in couple-on-the-road comedy as Charlie’s carefully built small-town life starts coming apart.
