Years later, Akshay Kumar is Raj, now grown up and headed into Indian Air Force pilot training, while Lara Dutta’s Kajal remains the friend everyone assumes he will marry. When Raj comes home ready to finally tell her how he feels, he finds her engaged to Karan Singhania, a wealthy businessman whose world of planes and choppers mirrors the passion she once shared with him.
