Every Which Way But Loose

ActionAdventureComedyDramaFamilyRomance114 min

Clint Eastwood is Philo Beddoe, an easygoing trucker from the San Fernando Valley who also happens to be the toughest bar-room brawler west of the Rockies. With his pet orangutan Clyde and his brother Orville (Geoffrey Lewis) along for the ride, Philo heads across the American Southwest after a singer he can’t stop thinking about; the woman drawing him onward is Sondra Locke. What starts as a pursuit turns into a trail of motels, roadside scrapes, and bare-knuckle fights, with cops, a biker gang, and legendary bruiser Tank Murdock all crossing his path.
