Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy

ComedyDramaRomance124 min

Renée Zellweger is Bridget Jones, now a widowed single mother trying to restart her life while raising two children. Pressured by family and friends to move forward, Bridget heads back to work, tries dating apps, and finds her love life suddenly crowded. Hugh Grant’s Daniel Cleaver is still in the picture as an ex who hasn’t entirely disappeared, while a younger admirer and her son’s science teacher (Chiwetel Ejiofor) complicate things further. Between school-gate judgment, parenting worries, and Bridget’s familiar run of awkward encounters, the film catches her juggling grief, romance, and daily chaos at a very different stage of life.
