Dead Poets Society
ComedyDrama129 min
At Welton Academy in 1959, a group of boys enters a school ruled by discipline, tradition, and plans already laid out for their futures. Everything shifts when a new English teacher, John Keating, urges them to read poetry as something alive and personal, not just another lesson to memorize. His classes push the students to speak up, take risks, and imagine lives beyond what their parents and the school expect. As they revive a secret society devoted to poetry and late-night gatherings, new confidence brings new conflict, and the freedom Keating encourages begins to collide with Welton’s rigid order. Robin Williams leads the story as the teacher at the center of that change.
