Early Man

ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasy89 min

When a Bronze Age city threatens his hidden valley, Stone Age caveman Dug rallies his tribe and his boar sidekick Hognob to defend their home in an ancient football match. Eddie Redmayne is Dug, a scrappy young hunter trying to turn a band of cave dwellers into a team, while Tom Hiddleston’s Lord Nooth stands for the polished, metal-clad world pushing them aside. In Aardman’s stop-motion style, the conflict becomes a prehistoric face-off between rough-and-ready village life and the spectacle of a gleaming city, all heading toward a winner-take-all game on the pitch.
