At an all-boys water polo camp in the summer of 2003, a socially awkward 12-year-old is pulled into a cruel tradition aimed at an outcast with an illness the boys call “The Plague.” Everett Blunck is the anxious kid at the center, caught in a ruthless pecking order as whispers, fear, and group cruelty send his summer into psychological turmoil. What starts as a camp joke grows harder to dismiss as the line between hazing and something real begins to blur. Blunck leads a cast that includes Joel Edgerton.
