The Water Diviner
DramaWar112 min
In 1919, Australian farmer Joshua Connor travels to Turkey to learn what happened to his three sons, all reported missing after Gallipoli. Russell Crowe is Connor, a father moving through a country still marked by war as he searches records, battlefields, and anyone who might have seen the boys. In Istanbul, Olga Kurylenko's Ayshe, a guarded hotel owner, and Major Hasan (Yilmaz Erdoğan), a Turkish officer with his own ties to the fighting, become part of that search. The story follows one family's loss through the uneasy aftermath of World War I, across both Australian and Turkish lives.
