Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow

ActionAdventureFantasyMysterySci-FiThriller107 min

When giant robots descend on New York City, Jude Law is Sky Captain, the ace pilot leading a private air force against them. At the same time, Gwyneth Paltrow’s reporter Polly Perkins is chasing a story about missing scientists, and the trail suggests the attacks are part of the same plan. Forced back into each other’s orbit, the exes follow the mystery from Manhattan to the Himalayas, hunting the elusive Dr. Totenkopf before the machines strike again. The story folds newspaper sleuthing into pulp adventure, with killer robots, dogfights, and a sleek retro-futurist look.
