Happy Together

DramaRomance96 min

In Buenos Aires, a Hong Kong couple tries to start over after years of breaking apart and pulling back together. Their trip is meant to reset the relationship, but once they are stranded far from home, old wounds and uneven devotion take over. One man keeps asking for another fresh start; the other drifts between tenderness, resentment, and the need to get away. As money runs short and the city closes in, their bond turns into a cycle of reunion and collapse. With Leslie Cheung and Tony Leung Chiu-wai at the center, the film follows love that will not hold steady, even when neither man can quite let it end.
