Dark Places

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller113 min

Years after her family was murdered and her brother was sent to prison for the crime, Libby Day is still living off the story that made her a child witness. Broke and adrift, she accepts money from a private club obsessed with notorious killings, and their questions push her back into the night she has tried not to remember. As Libby retraces the case, old testimony, buried family tensions, and fragments of memory stop fitting the version everyone accepted. Charlize Theron plays Libby as she is pulled into a new investigation that may expose whether the wrong person has been carrying the blame.
