The Big Year
Comedy102 min
Three devoted bird-watchers spend a calendar year racing across North America to spot more species than anyone else, as unusual migration patterns send rare birds into the United States and turn the hobby into a fierce contest. Steve Martin, Jack Black, and Owen Wilson are the rivals at the center of the chase, following sightings by plane, road, and rumor while the competition pushes into their personal lives. What starts as a niche obsession becomes a cross-country scramble built around checklists, near misses, and the next rare bird on the horizon.
