Freddie Highmore is the detached, sketchbook-carrying teenager, drifting through classes until he crosses paths with Emma Roberts’s Sally, a popular but complicated classmate who sees a kindred spirit in him. Their friendship pulls George out of his usual isolation and forces him to confront senior year, uncertain feelings, and the question of what he wants to do with himself once school runs out.
