Three impoverished roommates in working-class India spot a chance to change their fortunes when one of them comes across a seemingly low-risk way to make extra cash. Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raaz are part of the trio at the center, men scraping by in a globalizing economy and deciding that a little crime might be easier than staying honest. What begins as a practical scheme starts to widen, pulling their shared life, ambitions, and bad assumptions into something harder to control.
