Shattered Glass

Drama94 min

At The New Republic, young reporter Stephen Glass looks like a rising star, filing colorful stories that make him a favorite in the newsroom. That image starts to crack when details in one article do not add up and a routine fact-check turns into a deeper look at his work. As questions spread from one piece to another, editors have to decide whether they are protecting a talented writer or uncovering a pattern of invention inside a magazine built on credibility. Hayden Christensen plays Glass, with Peter Sarsgaard as the editor forced to confront how much trust, ambition, and reputation are tied up in the scandal.
