Colonel Guile leads a multinational push against dictator M. Bison, whose hostage-taking regime pulls a whole roster of martial arts fighters into the fight. Jean-Claude Van Damme's Guile is at the center of the mission, while Raul Julia gives Bison an imperious, theatrical edge. Ming-Na Wen and Damian Chapa are among the familiar combatants folded into the conflict as the film reworks the game’s face-off structure into a military rescue plot, with command centers, secret lairs, and plenty of hand-to-hand showdowns.
