Saints and Soldiers

ActionAdventureDramaWar90 min

After the Malmedy Massacre during the Battle of the Bulge, five American soldiers are stranded behind enemy lines and have to find their way back to Allied territory through the winter countryside of German-held Europe. Corbin Allred and Alexander Polinsky are among the men cut off from U.S. forces, carrying the shock of the massacre with them as they move from farmhouses and forests to the next uncertain refuge. The film stays close to the squad’s uneasy alliances, fatigue, and split-second decisions as they try to survive the retreat.
