Fiddler on the Roof

AnimeDramaFamilyMusicalRomance181 min

Tevye, a poor Jewish milkman in pre-revolutionary Russia, is trying to hold his family and his faith together as three of his daughters choose love over arranged matches and rising antisemitism closes in on their village. Topol is Tevye, meeting each upheaval with humor, worry, and stubborn devotion, while Norma Crane's Golde keeps the household moving with sharper, more practical instincts. In Anatevka, tavern songs, wedding negotiations, arguments about tradition, and the threat of violence all crowd the same small community.
