Jasmeet is taken from London to India by her father and pressed into marrying Arjun, but once they’re back home she announces that she still intends to marry her boyfriend, Charlie Brown. Katrina Kaif is Jasmeet, caught between family pressure and the life she has built in London, while Akshay Kumar’s Arjun arrives as a husband she neither wanted nor knows what to do with. Rishi Kapoor appears as the father whose attempt to settle his daughter’s future sets the conflict in motion, as the film moves between Indian family expectations and a very public London culture clash.
