Padmaavat
DramaRomanceWar164 min
In 13th-century Rajputana, Queen Padmavati’s marriage to Mewar ruler Ratan Singh draws the attention of Delhi sultan Alauddin Khilji, whose fixation on her turns into a campaign against Chittor. Deepika Padukone is Padmavati, with Shahid Kapoor as the Rajput king at her side, while Ranveer Singh’s Khilji looms over the story as an ambitious and ruthless rival. As the conflict widens from palace intrigue to open siege, the film centers on the kingdom’s code of honor, the pressure of rule, and the struggle over a fortress under threat.
