The Purge: Election Year
ActionAdventureCrimeHorrorSci-FiThriller109 min
Former police sergeant Leo Barnes is now protecting Senator Charlene Roan, a presidential frontrunner whose vow to end the Purge has made her a target. Frank Grillo is Leo, still marked by his own Purge Night history, while Elizabeth Mitchell’s Roan loses her security after a betrayal inside the government. Forced into the streets of Washington, D.C. during the annual night of legalized violence, they have to navigate a city divided between pro- and anti-Purge factions, with armed civilians, hired killers, and political enemies all moving through the same 12 hours.
