A pair of Koothu artistes are swept into a political power struggle when they’re framed in a drug-smuggling case and forced to stay ahead of a determined police hunt. Vaibhav Reddy is one half of the duo, with Anagha L.K. opposite him as his fellow performer and ally on the run. Rooted in Tamil folk theatre, the story tracks how a local livelihood is upended by political maneuvering, police pressure, and a charge that keeps closing off their options.
