The Wolf Man

DramaHorrorMysteryRomance70 min

Lon Chaney Jr. is Larry Talbot, who returns to his family’s estate in Wales after his brother’s death. Hoping to reconnect with his father and settle back into village life, Larry instead finds himself pulled toward local folklore, a gypsy camp, and a violent attack that leaves him changed. As the full moon rises and talk of werewolves stops sounding like superstition, the strain between family duty, romance, and dread tightens around him. Claude Rains and Evelyn Ankers round out the story’s tense household-and-village world, where old legends carry the weight of a sentence.
