A death-row inmate vanishes from his cell at Kalaghati Jail the night before his execution, leaving detectives Chaitanya and Madhav with a locked-room mystery and one clue: a diary written by Miguel. As they try to trace Prisoner No. 299, the case moves through the prison, the diary’s fragments, and the question of how a man marked for death could simply disappear. Mohan Bhagat and Bhooshan are among the central figures in a Telugu thriller that threads science-fiction ideas into its investigation.
