Simon Williams is an actor chasing the lead in a remake of Wonder Man, a superhero role that could change his career if he can survive the auditions, the egos, and the machinery around it. The job turns into a tug-of-war between fame and identity as Simon tries to prove he belongs at the center of a comic-book spectacle built to sell an image. Trevor Slattery is in the mix too, pulling the production further off course as the remake becomes its own circus. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Ben Kingsley anchor a story that mixes studio satire with superhero chaos, where every step toward the spotlight brings a fresh complication behind the scenes.
