A group of police officers find that the hardest part of the job starts when the shift ends: being present fathers to children who are starting to drift away. Ken Bevel and Alex Kendrick are among the dads at the story’s center, balancing danger on the streets with grief, marriage, and the pressure to lead their families well at home. After tragedy hits close to home, their focus turns toward prayer, responsibility, and what faith requires of them as parents. The film follows these families as the men try to close the gap between their public duty and their roles as fathers.
